We want coaching

We want coaching, is the headline of an article in Financial Times, stating that high executives are asking for coaching and/or mentoring. The coaching business was on a downward slope, but is picking up again. I’d like to think it has to do with professional coaching becoming more the norm.

I agree though! I can see the value of coaching for basically everyone. Like Michael Neill says:

”You would benefit from walking up to a lamp post and having a chat with it, after work every day. Imagine how much more benefit you would have if you exchanged the lamp post with a professional coach!”

You might think that coaching isn’t for you. If that’s the case, I challenge you to give it a try. I will give you a 2 hour complimentary virtual CoachWalk session if you dare test your beliefs – just send me an email to helena.roth at respondi.se. And of course, that’s a valid offer for those of you who already know the power of coaching, but want to try out new venues, as well.

Are you game?

Virtual CoachWalk

Yesterday I tried something new. I had a virtual CoachWalk with a potential client. And it was sweet!

What’s a virtual CoachWalk you ask?
Well, I do most of my coaching as CoachWalks, that is, I coach while walking with my client.

Now, instead of limiting myself to being in the same physical space as my clients, I also do virtual CoachWalks. That is, we each walk in our separate places and talk over SKYPE or phone at the same time.

The weather last night was amazing, and as you can see I walk in beautiful surroundings.

I am amazed by the power of professional coaching. Having a coach of my own has made a huge difference in my life.

If you’ve tried professional coaching, what impact did it have in and on your life?
