Connective harmonies

At first.
There is nothing.

Silence.

Then.
A hum.
A deep, vibrating hum.

Grounding me.

The vibrations enter me, Body, Mind, Soul.
All starts to vibrate within me.

Then.

I start to hum.
Cannot keep it in.
Out it comes.

A deep, vibrating hum.
Grounding me even deeper.

Blending with the existing hum, weaving back and forth. Together.
More voices join in.
The hum grows, in strength and resonance.

When I close my eyes, the overtones are apparent within me. I can feel the vibrations, starting with the base notes, slower vibrations, at the root of my being. Vibrations spread upwards within me, octave upon octave. Soon there is a symphony of resonance engulfing me, I cannot tell my boundaries, I am dissolving, becoming a part of a big humming body, in resonance, together.

I have to breathe.

I stop humming. Deep intake of breath. My boundaries solidifies again, as I stand surrounded by the vibrations, letting them carry me while breathing.

When I’ve replenished my body with fresh air, the hum within cannot be contained anymore, so out it comes, rejoining the choir of humming voices. Together again.

Once more, I start to dissolve, the world around me disappear, all there is is this co-creation, a being made up of voices, filling me up.

Every cell of my body sings, I go from humming a sonorous base tone to a high-pitched tone, clear, wordless. It’s the voice of an angel coming through me, soaring high on unlimited and unconditional love, dancing on the threads of vibrations, expressing the exuberant joy of experiencing Heaven on Earth.

It goes on and on.
Time ceases to exist.
What is. Is.

And then. Collectively, as one, we lower our voices, the energy remains, but more contained, concentrated, slowly dissolving, like a mist, dispersed by the ray of sunshine.

Voices go silent, one after another, keeping the hum within, rather than letting it out into the world. Like a ball of energy, nesting deep within the soul of each participant, a proof of our connection, a reminder of our human potential. The ability to start with nothing and out of it create a symphony of resonance.

One single hum remains…wonder

And then.
Silence.

Except deep within our souls,
where the ball of energy remains,

a reminder of Heaven on Earth.

Preparing for life

Alan Seale wrote about Preparing for life, a 17 minute long film about a Waldorf school in California, The Waldorf School of the Peninsula, in his newsletter. He wrote about it in a way that spiked my interest and curiosity, so while having lunch I watched the film:

Now. There’s a lot going on in my mind as I watch this, as I take in what I see and hear. Some of those things are questions like:

  • Is it just this school or is this film representative (in spirit, if nothing else) of all Waldorf-schools? *how I wish for the latter*
  • Why haven’t I found a school like this for my children to attend? *feel sad, that I haven’t*
  • Is there even any schools like this in Sweden? I know there are Waldorf schools, but are they truly like this one? Same same but different, perhaps? *hoping I will find out from friends who work in and with Waldorf schools in Sweden and Norway*
  • Why don’t all kids get a chance to go to a school that truly give’s them access to this:
To know the world is to know the self, and to know the self is to know the world.

But also thoughts such as:

  • Within the existing school system paradigm, this is probably as good as it gets.
  • But still, how strange it is that we toss kids together with other kids the same age, and sprinkle in a handful of adults, and keep them all in a classroom, or two, within the confines of a building called a school house. This is not natural for humans, it’s not what we are wired for, physically or psychologically.
  • Not surprised that the TV-reporters use dramatic words of ”totally unplugged school” when that is not what the teachers and students are saying at all. But headlines require the use of drama to get attention right?
  • Amazing eye sparkles going on here, as well as relationships, learning, and creations – I mean, witness some of those paintings and sculptures – they look like they were made by a professional!

All in all, Preparing for life leaves me with a feeling of hope. It show’s me it is possible to make something really great out of the concept of school, as it stands today, and looking forward, there’s every opportunity to create a school system where all children truly will be able to thrive and explore their human potential.

What are you left with after watching the film?

Human Potential

Human Potential – big words. Fluffy words even?

Or is it just a two-word description of that which is unique to each and every one of us; my human potential being the onlyness within me. Your human potential being the onlyness within you. And we each have our very own personal onlyness.

If you are anything like me, when I think about Human Potential my mind goes in two directions:

1) What IS my human potential? What is my HIGHEST human potential? And is it static? Or constantly evolving?

2) How do I access it? How can I live up to my highest human potential?

HPcertification1I’ve had insights into both these queries these past few months. And guess what, I’ve just become a certified Human Potential assessment coach, so if you are as curious as I was, I can help you find out for yourself.

Whoaaaaa, that sounds even fluffier, doesn’t it? Finding out what my highest potential is and how I can live up to it, no way, you might think. Well. Perhaps that’s what you think. But then again, you might go, like I did: Whoa, that’s so cool, I want to try it!

This is something very special, and I am very eager to start to use this tool with a few clients. The name the Human Potential Assessment Tool is a long and kind of boring name for something that for me worked as portal (i.e a gateway to other dimensions), instantly taking me, in the company of my mentor (who was already a certified HP Assessment coach), very deep within myself. That is the invitation this tool holds.

And before you say anything, let me just stop you, right there. This is not a personality test tool. It’s not categorizing you and casting you and your results in comparison with the results of hundreds of thousands of other people…. nope. And it’s not something that will make you happy or make you live up to your full potential once you’ve done the assessment. Nothing like that. This is a self assessment tool, opening a door for transformation.

If you would like to know more about it, just let me know, and we’ll schedule a time for a conversation. A gateway to other dimensions, I mean, who wouldn’t be curious about that?

Humbled by the company I keep

I’ve just gotten off SKYPE where I’ve been in a 90 minute group conversation with three other people, skattered around the world, and I am humbled. Humbled by the company I get to keep, in various areas of my life.

There is so much human potential available within each and every one of us. Being in the company of people who are aware of this, and who are making the most of their own human potential – I lack words to describe the feeling I have from such experiences.

But if I try, humbled is one word that describes my feeling. Humbled, and with a great sense of hope! And humbled for me here is a positive feeling, getting to hang out with magnificent people, being a part of this group on equal footing with each and every one of the others. Receiving and sharing so much, being vulnerable and human.

Below is a quote by Marie Curie that speaks to the hope that I feel, because I am in the company of people who do just this. They are open to expanding as human beings, and at the same time, open to the expansion of humankind.

Marie Curie on better world

Do you ever feel humbled (see explanation above) by the company you keep?
