13/52 – Podcast 50/52 – time to ship!

Searching for podcasts with Seth Godin rather than following my normal favorite podcasts has been fun, and have given me new experiences, worth following up on more. Great bonus!

Seth Godin London Q&A by Rajesh Taylor

Many of the pods center around The Icarus Deception, which is one of the books I got from #SethinLondon. Seth generously gave away two books to everyone present, a copy of It’s your turn and one of the other books he brought to London.icarus deception

Marketing Over Coffee is one of those new experiences, and this episode from 2012 talks about The Icarus Deception amongst other things. However, the highlight for me is at the end when the ducks are lined up.

”We’re surrounded by people who are busy getting their ducks in a row, waiting for just the right moment…

Getting your ducks in a row is a fine thing to do. But deciding what you are you going to do with that duck is a far more important issue.

So my friend. (And by friend – know that I am talking to myself as much as to you!)
It’s time. Time to stop lining ducks up in a row. Time to ship. Get going.

Ask.
Answer.
Act.
Watcha gonna do with that duck?

Reflection #13 of 24 is a bit of an odd ball, as it’s not from the notes I took and the experience I had at the Seth Godin Q&A-session in London, November 2015. Rather, this is a reflection on a podcast with Seth Godin. These reflections will constitute my Advent Calendar for 2015, and will be posted daily from December 1st to the 24th.
