I wrote about Phil Hansen, who realized his artistic limitations turned out not to be limitations at all. He also stated:

Since I dream big of creating a world that works, this resonated deep within me. I don’t think we need ”much more” than what we already have, to be able to transform the world. What we need is to tell ourselves an alternative story (in the words of Ivan Illich) and to realize that within the confines of what we have today, we can do so much more than we are doing. The constraints largely resides within our thoughts. We can have a different culture/society than the existing one.

So, try it out. Tell yourself an alternative story – by taking one small step, on the path of transformation. What can you do to push against an existing constraint and thereby to create something (in what ever form it wants to take on) that doesn’t exist today?
